I’ve been present for many important milestones in the lives of my clients. Whether it’s proposals, engagement photos, weddings, anniversaries, parties, business ventures, milestones, or new family photos - I’m honored to be there for these occasions.

When I stop to think about the photos I’ve taken for them over the years, I see faces and memories. I have fond remnants of so many memories that aren’t even my own. I recognize special people I saw in their lives, their relationships, and stories they’ve told in the process. This experience, and the life updates in between, provide me with a window into so many lives with which I create art with.

I appreciate you all.

Location info : Kamil Beach - Beverly Shoes, IN

On this day, I worked with a long time client family whom I met while planning their wedding photography journey. We have been to multiple location throughout our professional relationship and this is one of my favorites for them.

Kamil Beach is a treasure trove of diverse landscapes and photo opportunities. From the rugged dunes and rocky beaches to the pristine water and rock walls, this location is a great pick in NWI.

Timing is everything when it comes to capturing unforgettable photographs, and Kamil Beach does not disappoint. At sunrise and sunset, the beach transforms into a scene straight out of a fairytale, with the warm golden light casting an ethereal glow on everything it touches. Take advantage of this magical time to capture dreamy moments. Although this location is great any time of day, I highly recommend scheduling sunrise hours, early morning, and evening hours to sunset.

Exploring Kamil Beach is like embarking on a treasure hunt. As you wander along the shoreline, there are hidden coves and tucked-away rock pools to unique architectural walls.

The crashing waves during higher winds offer a rugged and dramatic setting, while the tranquil times offer a calm ambiance.

Things to consider:

Need a day permit or yearly permit to the dunes national lakeshore. You can get one at recreation.org

Parking is limited, and if the main lot is full, we may need to walk about 2 blocks to the beach. The bathrooms are only available at the parking lot so outfit changes can be tricky. Consider the national lakeshore main beach for multiple outfit changes instead.

No lifeguards on duty. Swimming is at your own risk.
